Help For Nashville Flood Victims

As many of you know, The Pink Giraffe is based in Nashville, TN. Our hearts are broken over the immense loss that has occurred as a result of the flood that took place here on May 1st. Our studio suffered 3 inches of water, but we feel so fortunate to have such minimal damage. One of our very own here at TPG was deeply affected. Lisa, our precious artist who produces the beautiful canvases sold on our website, and her family suffered tragic damage to their home. It is hard to convey through words, so I am including pictures so you can see the damage.

It is one thing to watch something like this on TV, such as I did with Katrina in New Orleans. But when your dear friends are affected by this kind of devastation down the street from you, it is grueling and deeply heartbreaking to watch. We are offering a way for you to help. The Pink Giraffe is raffling off a $100 gift certificate to raise money to help those who have suffered so much loss. Every penny you spend on a ticket will go to help those who have lost so much to help begin the healing process. For a $2 entry you will be entered to win. The winner will be announced on May 30th on this blog. There is no limit as to how many times you can enter, so get going and enter today!! Some lucky winner is going to be $100 richer in monogrammed goodies!! So what are you wating for? You can enter here. Help us help Nashville!!!
